Mikes has been and will always be a pivotal figure on north Ave. Famous for its haddock subs fish specials and special sauce I grew up on these chicken boxes (special sauce all over with a triple mix) Mike is still serving! I love this place!
First time having Mike's in about 10 years since moving out of the area and it's absolutely taste the same. 4 wings and fries with special sauce and the fish special never disappoints. If your in the area I'm telling stop bye. (FYI call ahead they are not letting people inside due to COVID)
Fish special....bomb! Still taste like back in the day. It's in the hood so be warned Lol but police is always doing check-ins.
The fried chicken is delicious i like the burgers the fish sandwiches. The price is reasonable and cheap. Only thing i do not like is they don't have a phone so you can't call in. You have to come in and wait for your order, that's fine but I'd prefer to call ahead
It's in the hood. Don't get it twisted. I had my first fish special from here when I was maybe 7-8. It still tastes the same today. Fish special is fried fish chopped up on a grill with onions, lettuce tomatoes and special sauce. The special sauce makes this one hit. They also have other "sub shop" type food. Cheeseburgers, Cheesesteaks, Fries, back in the day they would fry wings to order, now they fry them and have them under the heat lamp. I get it but I am not a fan of this kind of wing. This place is a staple to the neighborhood and Mike is still there. Check it out, don't be scurred.. lol
The fish special is amazing. The wings and fries are also very good. Overall this is basically a neighborhood carry out where you can get subs, breakfast platters and wings
This place has THE BEST Cheesefish sub in WORLD!!! You must add hots and get special sauce. Be sure to say patties NOT the special. Add fries. VOILA... greasy dive food happiness.
